On stage , LOW RHYDERZ is a band made up of four home bred MCs. On papers, LOW RHYDERZ is a brand founded by four partners. They exist solely to get the whole world grinding, vibing, jiving and forgetting each other’s differences which leads to great by-products namely HAPPINESS and PEACE. Their music testifies to their aims which is unusual and big. ‘Cos they know that to have aim small is a crime in today’s world.
Initially, it was hard work for them to get people listen to their music. They were an unknown band making unfamiliar music in the sub continent. But over time, converting the first time hesitant listener into an instant fan became cake-walk. Band LOW RHYDERZ is the driving force of Brand LOW RHYDEZ. Versatility and style is the key to all the music they make and the business they do. However, Urban (Hip hop , Rap and Reggae) music will always be their basic thing and they say, “ Our lives relate to it automatically, naturally, lyrically, metaphorically and emotionally “.
Though they started over three years ago, they are still on a journey with notable performances including The National Equestrian and Horse Ridding Championship ( Pondicherry ), India Men’s Fashion Fair ( Bangalore ), Tata Tea’s “Jago Re” campaign at Wipro Campus ( Bangalore ), Colour nites by Bangalore Times ( Bangalore ) and other performances in prominent night clubs across South Indian States. RAVE magazine wrote about LOW RHYDERZ after witnessing them live in 2007. Their work was also acknowledged by a leading daily tabloid called the “Deccan Chronicle”.
Two of their music videos drew attention when they were aired by India’s leading English news channel “CNN IBN” in 2007 and 2009 respectively. The first video and soundtrack depicted the evolution of 60 years of Indian independence. The second one was a politically aggressive message to the youth specially, which was part of the CNN IBN’s “ROCK THE VOTE” campaign during the Great Indian General Elections. They’ve recorded and performed with country’s leading Djs, Musicians & artists from France, Cameroon, Tanzania, Iran and Oman .
Right now, be the first to know that the much anticipated debut album “OUTTA NOWHERE” is dropping early 2011. Bookings are open for live performances.One can also get them to rock events as a DJ-MC combo for dance parties ! Life is Beautiful !.. SHANTI--V-- !
