Oxford Kazakh Society (KazOx) was founded in 2009. It is a student organisation established with the purpose of uniting all Kazakhstani students in Oxford. We are dedicated to representing Oxford students both within educational institutions and externally, thus, encouraging academic and social activities. Our Society is willing to provide a supportive environment for those who value Kazakh culture and show interest in it, through various interactive events. Furthermore, we will work as a social unit to help students communicate, share a mixture of views and ideas and encourage creativity. Our Society seeks to develop trustful, cooperative relationship with various student societies across the UK. We aim to promote our country abroad, culturally, economically and spiritually, and thus bridge the cultural divide between East and West. We will endeavor to ensure that student life is maximised to the highest potential. Let us go onto further success and keep ourselves on the ladder which says “Here is the bright Future of Kazakhstan”.
